"I cannot recommend yoga for this age group enough. All the children in nursery thoroughly enjoy their weekly yoga class. From my experience they come back refreshed and calmer from their sessions with you. There is a noticeable difference in their behaviour after each session and I find their ability to calm quicker for all my lessons has increased over the year and I have no doubt that their learned behaviour during your lessons has contributed to this."
Catriona O'Neill, Head of Nursery, Ivy House School, Hampstead
“Having introduced yoga at the nursery has been a great learning experience for the children where it has helped them boost their self-confidence, learning and engaging in relaxation practices, which is a good start to their day. Yoga has provided a gentle and playful way to support physical growth, emotional well-being and social skills.”
Angela Rehman, Nursery Manger, Parkside View Nursery, Hendon
"Since working with Alison, we have noticed that our children have grown in confidence while also becoming more relaxed and calm. The skills they have learnt with Alison have transferred into the classroom which has meant they are more relaxed to learning, helping to create a more positive environment around school.
"Children have been quoted to say 'Yoga is so much fun,' 'Miss Alison is so funny' and 'I can't wait to go to Yoga!' This is a testimony to Alison and the amazing club she provides."
Billy Rowe, Primary PE Lead & PE Teacher, St Mary's & St John's Primary School, Hendon
"Alison's yoga class for toddlers has been wonderful to witness. Not only does she engage with the children in a way that has them focused and ready to listen, it's also incredibly joyful and creative. The sessions always start with a ring of the bell, and end with positive affirmations. The use of props such as soft toys and 'magic' box keeps the session interactive and flowing at the children's pace. Children and teachers are both very much looking forward to her sessions, to the point one child has even invited her to do their birthday party!"
Nursery Manager, Gan on the Hill, Muswell Hill
“It’s been a great experience to have Yoga as part of our school wellbeing curriculum enrichment this year. The children have thoroughly enjoyed each session - and improved their focus, enjoyed being active, and learnt calming techniques. I definitely would recommend Yoga to others.”
